Cake Autumn: Two and Three

So my mad three weeks of baking have finally come to an end which means that you should hear a bit more from me from now on than you have done of late.

This was the cake I made for my new Goddaughter's christening:



And this was the grand finale for the gorgeous partnership ceremony of two friends at the weekend:






So now I can turn my attention back to our much neglected flat!

    Both wow... but that second one is so so so gorgeous! What are the gold leaves made of?!

    Thank you! They are chocolate (well cocoaform which is chocolate mixed with glucose and cocoa butter so it is manual). The gold is real gold leaf which is interesting to work with!
